Liz B. Clearman is currently serving as Associate Director of Admissions for the University of Houston Law Center (UHLC). Her main responsibilities include meeting with prospective and current students, reading/reviewing applications as part of the admissions committee and assisting in making admissions decisions, putting together various programs and events for prospective and admitted students, traveling to various colleges/universities/career fairs around the country to recruit potential law students, and creating the marketing pieces from start to finish for the Admissions Office.

Prior to her tenure at UHLC in the Admissions Office, Liz served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Houston in the Contracts Division right out of law school, moving on to become a Career Counselor in UHLC's Career Development Office from 2005-2008. For six years after that, she was a stay-at-home-mom to her daughter before getting back into the working world as a Marketing Director for a Chick-fil-A franchise. Interested in getting back in higher education and law school administration, Liz came back to the Law Center in 2013 as an Assistant Director of Admissions, and was recently promoted to the position of Associate Director.
