Fee Waivers
LSAC Fee Waivers
The Law School Admission Council provides fee waivers for applicants with extreme financial need. For more information on eligibility and to apply, please go to http://www.lsac.org/JD/LSAT/fee-waivers.asp. The fee waiver will cover two LSATs (test dates must fall within the two-year waiver period); the CAS registration, which includes the letter of recommendation service and the electronic law school application service; four free LSDAS Law School Reports (available only after CAS registration is complete); and one free copy of the Official LSAT SuperPrepĀ®.
If you receive an LSAC fee waiver, your application fee will automatically be waived when you apply to the UHLC JD program. You do not need a coupon code; the fee waiver will trigger automatically.
UHLC Application Fee Waivers
The UH Law Center provides a limited number of application fee waivers based on demonstrated financial need. The deadline to apply for an application fee waiver for Fall 2012 Full-time admission is January 15, 2012. The deadline to apply for an application fee waiver for Fall 2012 Part-time admission is April 1, 2012. To apply for a fee waiver, please complete the fee waiver application and mail or fax it to the admissions office. If your fee waiver application is approved, we will contact you via email and provide you with a coupon code that you will use to submit your application electronically. You must submit your fee waiver application several weeks before you plan to submit your admissions application so that we will have enough time to consider your request and send you a coupon code.
