Sports Law: Behind the Lights, Camerasand Action -
Deflategate and Beyond (4 hours of CLE credit ; 1 hour of Ethics credit)
The Symposium will focus on the interaction between law and sports. Speakers will include professional sports league legal representatives, professional athlete player union representatives, litigators and sports agents. The panel will give a broad overview of how the law shapes what goes on behind the bright lights and TV cameras of the professional sports world. Included will be an in-depth review of the legal proceedings and opinions related to Deflategate – National Football League Management Council and the National Football League v. National Football League Players Association and Tom Brady.
