Jeff has served as outside counsel for three professional sports teams, the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle SuperSonics and Portland Trail Blazers. He has taught Sports Law as an adjunct professor since 2002 at various law schools, including Seattle University Law School, University of Washington Law School, ISDE (Madrid, Spain) and most recently at UH Law Center. Jeff has frequently lectured on wide-ranging sports law topics, including Title IX and collective bargaining in professional sports. He is currently in-house counsel with Phillips 66 in Houston, TX. Jeff formerly was in private practice as a partner at Foster Pepper (Seattle, WA) where he served on the firm's Executive and Hiring Committees and as an associate at Burr & Forman (Birmingham, AL).
