The Center for U.S. and Mexican Law (from US-MEX LAW), as founding member of Texas One Gulf Consortium, Center of Excellence (https://www.texasonegulf.org/), with the invaluable association of the Embassy of France in the United States, and their French Ameri-Can Climate Talks programs, is glad to invite you to the movie screening “Oceans, the mystery of the missing plastic”, and to the round table and food gathering that will follow, on Friday November 8th 2019, from 3pm to 6pm at the University of Houston. From US-MEX LAW, we are very proud to bring to the conversation comparative law issues from Mexico and the U.S. at the cross-road of science, dealing with this worldwide critical topic impacting as well the Gulf of Mexico. Scientific co-production to study the impact of plastic in the oceans, is more than ever welcome to address the problem and find solutions from a multidisciplinary perspective.
