Dean Baynes talks about minority enrollment on KUHF’s “Houston Matters”

Dean Baynes talks live on the air in KUHF studios with “Houston Matters” host Craig Cohen.

Aug. 26, 2015—University of Houston Law Center Dean Leonard M. Baynes appeared on Tuesday’s “Houston Matters” program on Houston Public Media’s KUHF 88.7 FM to discuss the nationwide trend of declining law school admissions in recent years and law schools’ recent efforts to increase of enrollment of low-income, first generation, and underrepresented students, including through the Pre-Law Pipeline Program he initiated this year at UHLC.

During the live program, hosted by KUHF’s Craig Cohen, Baynes discussed the topics with Aaron Taylor, an assistant professor at Saint Louis University School of Law. In a recent academic paper on law school minority enrollment trends, Taylor cited Baynes’ pipeline initiative.
