Baynes welcomes new UH Law Center faculty at Taste of Houston event

Oct. 10, 2016 - University of Houston Law Center Dean Leonard M. Baynes announced the addition of six new faculty members recently at the "Alumni & Friends Reception: Taste of Houston" at the Sonoma Wine Bar on Richmond Avenue.
"This a top-tier group of new faculty members who will really add to the value and expertise of Law Center's already outstanding faculty," Baynes said.
The new faculty members include:

  • Katherine Brem, a clinical assistant professor who will teach Lawyering Skills and Strategies.
  • David Fagundes, a professor of law who teaches Property, Trusts & Estates, Statutory Interpretation & Regulation and the Subprime Mortgage Crisis.
  • Renee Knake, a professor of law who holds the Joanne and Larry Doherty Chair in Legal Ethics.
  • Sarah Morath and Kenneth R. Swift are clinical associate professors who teach Lawyering Skills and Strategies.
  • Gina S. Warren is an associate professor of law who teaches Oil & Gas, Energy Law & Policy, and International Energy Law.
