Hester to address energy and environmental law

The lecture is the latest installment of the Legal Excellence Speaker series

March 19, 2013 – University of Houston Law Center Assistant Professor Tracy Hester will present "Shaping Houston's Future: Energy & Environment Law and its Effect on Houston's Business Opportunities" on Thursday as part of the Legal Excellence Speaker series. Hester is the director of the Environment, Energy & Natural Resource Center at Law Center.

The lecture will be held March 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is free and open to the public and will be at the Hilton Americas Hotel, 1600 Lamar, downtown. One hour of participatory CLE credit will be awarded to attorneys in attendance.

There will be one additional lecture to conclude the series:

  • April 25, "International Trade, NAFTA, Pipelines and the I-69 Corridor," Stephen Zamora, Leonard B. Rosenberg Professor of Law, director of the Center for U.S. and Mexican Law, and 
director of the North American Consortium on Legal Education (NACLE).
