UH Law Center Spring 2013 Colloquium

Law faculty members from schools around the country present and defend their works-in-progress to the students enrolled in the 2013 Spring Colloquium class.  UHLC faculty and other guests are invited to attend. The colloquium provides faculty presenters a valuable opportunity to receive thoughtful feedback on their work, but the primary motivation for the course is student-centered. It is designed to be a collaberative environment in which students and teachers discuss new ideas and work cooperatively as equal partners in scholarly deliberation. Few courses provide comparable opportunities for students to be exposed to this level of academic discussion and debate. The colloquium is organized annually by Lonny Hoffman, George Butler Research Professor of Law.
