Dean’s Awards honor Law Center’s best and brightest

April 24, 2014 – Krost Hall at the University of Houston Law Center was filled Wednesday with proud parents, friends, and faculty as the school’s most outstanding students were recognized with Dean’s Awards for their academic and community efforts.

More than 125 students were honored during the program moderated by Sondra Tennessee, associate dean for Student Affairs.  Awards were presented by Interim Dean Richard M. Alderman, sponsors, and faculty members.  Lex Awards given to students earning the highest grade in a first-year course were presented to 59 students.
