April 20, 2015 - The Houston Journal of International Law’s annual awards banquet paid tribute to four alumni who played key roles in the Journal’s formation in 1978. John Brentin ’78, Austin Barsalou ’79, and Scott Cramer ’80 served as the first three editors-in-chief of the Journal.  Walter Wright ’76 graduated before establishment of the Journal, but he has been cited as both an influence and inspiration to the Journal’s early leadership.  They were cited for their devotion to international legal scholarship which helped found a publication 37 years ago that is a credit to both the Law Center and the Houston legal community. The banquet was held April 11 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
