UH Law Center ranks in upper echelon of 'Go-To' schools in national survey

March 7, 2018 — The  University of Houston Law Center is ranked 43rd among the nation's law schools in the percentage of 2017 graduates hired as associates by the country's top 100 law firms, according to the National Law Journal's annual survey of "Go-To" law schools.

"As a Tier 1 institution with top ranked specialty programs, a highly impactful professional development training program, and a global reach of high achieving alumni, our students are often sought out by the nation's largest law firms and other legal employers seeking top legal talent," said Assistant Dean for Career Development Tiffany J. Tucker.

The survey found 9.52 percent of recent grads were hired by large firms, including Baker Botts LLP and Locke Lord LLP.
