June 27, 2014 - UHLC students Niki Roberts and Brandon Schrecengost won the International Negotiation Competition in Pohang, South Korea this week as representatives of the United States.

Roberts and Schrecengost surpassed law students from 16 other countries at the 2014 competition hosted by Handong International Law School. The UHLC team defeated Singapore, New Zealand, and England to take the championship.

Roberts is a recent part-time program graduate who will now be working for Bracewell & Giuliani, and Schrecengost will be a 3L this fall. The team finished second in the American Bar Association's Negotiation Competition last February and won the five-state regional ABA Negotiation Competition last November.

Recent UHLC graduate and Bracewell & Giuliani hire Lucy Tyson led the team to victory as its primary coach.
