Course Areas: Practice Skills - Clinics and Externships 

Time: 4:00p-5:30p  TH  Location: 113  BLB

Course Outline: Students will represent clients in the following civil practice areas: family (including domestic violence, divorce and custody), juvenile dependency and delinquency, probate, guardianships, bankruptcy and landlord/tenant. Representation will include court/trial appearances, mediation, negotiation, document drafting and case investigation.

Accepted students must attend the three day Clinic Orientation held from Wednesday, January 14 through Friday, January 16. A Clinic student group picture will be taken on Wednesday. Students will receive a separate email with additional information.

There is no book required for the Clinic I. All advanced reading materials are handed out in class.

Prerequisites: Yes  - Completion of 45 hours.
