6369 Legal Analysis and Writing - DAVIS- 26467
Megan Davis (CLINICAL FACULTY [405(b)])
Course Areas: Practice Skills - (Research and Writing)
Time: 10:30a-12:00p TTH Location: 211 TUII
Course Outline: Legal Analysis and Writing will familiarize students with the structure of the UBE, offer bar exam preparation and test-taking strategies, and provide face-to-face and written performance feedback through a series of simulation exercises. This class does not replace traditional, private bar preparation companies (i.e. Barbri, Themis, or Kaplan). Rather, it is employed in conjunction with those programs.
Although the primary focus of the course is the UBE, the course will address general bar exam test-taking strategies with a focus on exam essays, the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE), and Multistate Performance Test (MPT) sections, which are non-state specific and common to almost all bar examinations across the country
