Course Outline: The course will cover Deepwater Gulf of Mexico Lease Sales, Joint Operating Agreements, Participation Agreements, Suspensions of Operations or Production, the cycle time from lease acquisition to first oil or gas, mid-stream issues (pipelines to shore and Production Handling Agreements), development of infrastructure, internal approval processes of Lessees, federal regulations and Notices to Lessees addressing these matters, and other related topics.
