BODA ACTIONS

 

On Feb. 6, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal of Leandro David Martinez, 43, of Weslaco.

 

On Feb. 6, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal of Anthony Williams, 40, of Lubbock.

 

On Feb. 6, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal of Roy R. Jimenez, 50, of San Antonio.

 

On March 11, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals affirmed the judgment of disbarment against Lee Swift, 67, of San Marcos.

 

JUDICIAL ACTIONS

On Feb. 13, 2002, the State Commission on Judicial Conduct accepted the resignation from judicial office, in lieu of discipline, of Justice of the Peace Billy Ray Chisum of Leakey.

 

RESIGNATIONS

 On Dec. 11, the Supreme Court of Texas accepted the resignation in lieu of discipline, of Howard F. Saunders, 56, of Amarillo.

 

SUSPENSIONS

On Dec. 9, Charles Allen Brown, Jr., 50, of Houston received a five-year, fully-probated suspension effective Jan. 1, 2003 from the 129th District Court of Harris County.

 

On Dec. 17, St. James Gilpin Chambers, 50, of Dallas received a one-year, partially-probated suspension effective March 1, 2003, with the first six months actively served and he remainder probated from the District 6-A Grievance Committee.

 

On Jan. 15, Edward B. Chatelain, 35, of Nederland received a three-year, fully-probated suspension effective March 1, 2003 from the District 3-A Grievance Committee.

 

On Jan. 9, Len Olsen, 42, of Clayton, N.M., received a six-month, fully probated suspension effective Feb. 1, 2003 from the District 13-A Grievance Committee.

 

On Feb. 19, Robert Edward Rangel, 54, of San Antonio received a four-year, partially-probated suspension effective June 1, 2003, with the first six months actively served and the remainder probated from the 224th District Court of Bexar County.

 

On March 6, John W. Wiggens, Sr., 55, of Houston received an eight-year, partially-probated suspension effective Jan. 1, 2003, with the first three years actively served and the remainder probated from the District 4-C Grievance Committee.

 

On Jan.14, Tina M. Andrews, 41 of Houston received a four-year, partially-probated suspension effective March 2, 2002, with the first year actively served and the remainder probated from the 234th District Court of Harris County.

 

On Feb. 12, Adrian Antonio Chavez, 34, of Odessa received a two-year, fully probated suspension effective Feb. 15, 2003, as the result of five different disciplinary matters from the District 15-D Grievance Committee.

 

On Oct. 19, Lawrence Daniel, 42, of Houston received a 66-month, partially-probated suspension effective Sept. 1, 2003, with the first six months actively served and the remainder probated from the District 4-I Grievance Committee.

 

On Jan. 31, Diane M. Given, 48, of Dallas received a five-year, partially-probated suspension effective March 1, 2003, with the first four years actively served and the remainder probated from the District 6-A Grievance Committee.

 

On Feb. 7, Jeffrey Todd Robnett, 41, of Midland received a two-year, partially probated suspension effective March 15, 2003, with the first two months actively served and the remainder probated from the District 16-B Grievance Committee. 

 

PUBLIC REPRIMANDS

On Nov. 21, Justin Wayne Low, 36, of Odessa accepted a public reprimand from the District 15-D Grievance Committee.

 

On Feb. 18, Morris J. Kirschberg, 56, of San Antonio accepted a public reprimand from the 288th District Court of Bexar County.

 

On Dec. 4, Eric Dean Perkins, 43, of Corpus Christi accepted a public reprimand from an evidentiary panel of the District 11-A Grievance Committee.

 

On March 11, John Charles Lagrappe, 37, of Houston accepted a public reprimand form the District 5-A Committee.
