Oct. 1, 2025 - Mishell Parreno Taylor (J.D. ’03), a University of Houston Law Center alumna, was recently elected as a fellow to The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers Class of 2025.
August 15, 2025 - Ugonna Abakwue, a 2025 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, is combining his passion for law and fashion as he builds his career.
Aug. 21, 2025 - Bill Jackson, a 1992 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, played a central role in securing a settlement exceeding $2 billion for the state of New Jersey in a contamination case — the largest environmental recovery ever obtained by a single state and among the largest legal settlements in U.S. history.
July 30, 2025 – Robert W. Jones (J.D. ’91) was recently named chief executive officer of Texas Exes, the official alumni association for the University of Texas at Austin.
