Associate Director, Blakely Advocacy Institute
Mr. Friess is the Associate Director, Blakely Advocacy Institute, at the University of Houston Law Center. He also teaches some of the advocacy skills classes offered each semester and coaches for the Moot Court and Mock Trial Interscholastic Competition Teams.
Prior to joining UH Law Center, Mr. Friess recently retired with the rank of Colonel after a 25-year U.S. Army JAG Corps career, where he specialized in appellate criminal litigation and culminated as a Trial Judge, presiding over Army courts-martial.
