May 22, 2024 — Law students and recent graduates connected with more than 40 law firms during the 2024 Spring Small and Midsize Firm Open House, hosted by the University of Houston Law Center Career Development Office.
The event brought attorneys and representatives from law firms with 50 or fewer attorneys to campus to recruit and fill law clerk, summer associate, and attorney positions. Attendees explored opportunities in various legal fields, including personal injury, employment, corporate law, family law, tax, and energy sectors.
“Open Houses provide an invaluable platform for our students and recent graduates to meet directly with representatives from a wide range of smaller law firms to explore career opportunities. We are grateful to employers for hiring UHLC graduates,” said Chandria Jackson, UHLC Director of Employer Relations & Development.
