Membership

Membership in IPSO provides numerous benefits, including:

      • Free tickets to HIPLA's monthly lunches. This is a great opportunity to network with area IP attorneys.
      • Social events with IP practitioners and IPSO alumni.
      • Information from UHLC's Career Development Office regarding IP internship and scholarship opportunities.
      • Lunch events with IP firms and corporations. This is a great way to gain more information regarding IP options in the Houston area and to network.
      • Mentor events with 2L & 3L IPSO members regarding possible job opportunities, school, etc. 
      • A forum to discuss hot topics in IP & IL and get advice from senior members about classes to take and internship opportunities.

If you would like to become a part of IPSO, please fill out our online interest form using this link and pay membership dues directly to the IPSO treasurer. 

Membership dues are $15 for the 2023-24 Academic Year and are payable through IPSO Treasurer Derek Davila (dndavila@cougarnet.uh.edu) to his Venmo account (@derekd97). Please indicate that the payment is for IPSO dues when sending the payment.
