The award-winning UHLC Pre-Law Pipeline Programs are designed to enhance the law school applicant pool by providing their students with law school preparatory resources such as LSAT instruction, introductory law school classes, law-related internships, and professional development sessions. Our programs welcome a wide variety of students, including those who are first-generation, from low-income backgrounds, or are members of groups underrepresented in the legal profession with a genuine interest in attending law school and pursuing a legal career.
The J.D. program is a 90-hour curriculum culminating in the Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. The full-time J.D. program is designed for students who plan to devote nearly all of their time to the study of law. To be eligible for admission to the J.D. program, all applicants must: hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; have a recent score on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE); and register with the Credential Assembly Service (CAS).
