Course Outline: The course covers the law and procedures for employment based immigration including: temporary work visas; procedures at American Consulates abroad; obtaining permanent resident/green card status through employment; self-petition and business investment in the United States; I-9 requirements for U.S. employers hiring foreign nationals and employer sanctions. Students will have the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge to situations they would encounter in actual practice.
