The Carol B. Oberdorfer Scholarship offers financial assistance to a well-qualified, law degree earning
student of minority ethnic/racial background who is enrolled at the University of Houston Law Center.

This scholarship is awarded in memory of DeAnna Mack who died at
young age shortly after graduating from the Law Center.

Black Law Students Association (BLSA) Alumni Scholarship
This award was established by BLSA Alumni to assist a student member
of the organization in her quest for professional success.

Reginald Weldon Garrett, Jr. Endowed Scholarship
As a hands-on entrepreneur, Reginald Garrett is no stranger to hard work. With his
disciplined work ethic and ability to network, he founded several successful businesses.
He also believes in paying it forward, so he volunteers his time with several organizations
to improve the lives of adolescents. He established this scholarship to offer financial
assistance to well-qualified African-American students who are enrolled full-time.
