UHLC Professor Hester discusses carbon capture on ABA podcast

Sept. 9, 2024 — The final episode of the "Global Climate Change and U.S. Law" podcast series, part of the Environmental Law Explored: A Podcast SEERies, features Tracy Hester, Instructional Professor of Law at the University of Houston Law Center. 

In the episode, series editor Michael Gerrard speaks with Hester and Peter Lehner, Managing Attorney for Earthjustice's Sustainable Food & Farming Program, about engineered methods to capture carbon emissions before they exit smokestacks and agricultural practices that reduce emissions and increase carbon absorption in plants and soil. 

The series is produced by the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources and features top environmental, energy, and resources lawyers discussing career development, legal issues and new developments.
