U.S. News & World Report ranks UH Law Center among the best law schools for salary-to-debt ratio

Sept. 16, 2024 — Graduates of the University of Houston Law Center can more quickly repay their student loans, according to a recent article by U.S. News & World Report.

In a report titled, “24 Law Schools Where You Can Pay Off Your Debt,” UHLC earned the No. 21 ranking in the nation. 

The analysis indicates that the Law Center’s salary-to-debt ratio is 1.41-to-1. According to 2023 data, the starting median private salary of a Law Center alum is $147,500. The average debt is $104,466.
