UH Law, HIPLA to Host Fall Institute on Intellectual Property Law
Sept. 15, 2026 — The University of Houston Law Center’s Institute for Intellectual Property & Information Law and the Houston Intellectual Property Law Association will present the 42nd Annual Fall Institute on Intellectual Property Law this week in Galveston. The event brings together IP professionals from Texas and across the nation for three days of discussion on emerging and evolving issues in intellectual property law.
The keynote will be presented by the Register of Copyrights and Director of the U.S. Copyright Office Shira Perlmutter. There will be a fireside chat featuring the Hon. Susan Hightower of the U.S. District Court of the Western District of Texas and moderator Leisa Talbert Peschel of Jackson Walker LLP.
