April 23, 2024 — The University of Houston Law Center will honor its 2024 J.D. and LL.M. graduates during a ceremony on Saturday, May 11 at the Fertitta Center.
The event begins at 7 p.m. and guests may attend in-person or virtually (live stream link).
A reception preceding commencement will be held on the first floor of the John M. O’Quinn Law Building from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. for all graduates and their families.
Lola Lin, a UHLC alumna (J.D. ‘99) and Executive Vice President, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, and Secretary at Howmet Aerospace Inc., will be the commencement speaker. Lin oversees the Howmet Aerospace legal team in corporate, governance, securities/corporate finance, M&A, litigation, risk, employment, regulatory, intellectual property and commercial matters.
