July 02, 2024 — The University of Houston Law Center placed No. 29 in an analysis that compared starting salaries and student debt at law schools across the country. The report was conducted by the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce.
“UH Law Center is an excellent law school educating students from a wide range of backgrounds and providing them the opportunity and skills to succeed,” UHLC Dean Leonard M. Baynes said. “When they graduate, they can do anything in the legal profession, and by the way, they are also highly compensated for their collective success.”
According to the study, Law Center graduates made monthly debt payments of $980 with an annual salary of $107,600 four years into their legal career.
