UH Law Center earns nine Collegiate Advertising Awards

June 24, 2025 – The University of Houston Law Center’s Communications and Marketing Department has received nine recognitions, including five gold awards, from the Collegiate Advertising Awards.

The Law Center was recognized in the following areas:

  • Category: Email Marketing: UHLC Dean's Report (Gold)
  • Category: Radio - Series - UHLC Briefcase Radio (Gold)
  • Category: Special Events - UHLC Pioneers Heritage Celebration (Gold)
  • Category: Publication Internal - Single - UHLC Aspiring Lawyer (Silver)
  • Category: Social Media Marketing - Series - UHLC IG Admissions (Silver)
  • Category: Photo/Illustration - Single (UHLC Students) (Silver)
  • Category - Newsletter - Single - UHLC Summer E-Briefcase (Silver)

"It's a privilege to lead such a talented group committed to elevating our brand and advancing our mission," said Carrie Anna Criado, assistant dean of communications and marketing. "These honors reflect the creativity, dedication, and excellence that define our work at the University of Houston Law Center."

The Law Center’s communications and marketing team consists of Criado, Marketing Director Mel Miranda, Director of Communications Rashda Khan, Program Director Jaymie Turner, Senior Graphic Designer Dayna Hudson, Web Project Manager Ruth McCleskey, and Web Developer Baroness Adams.

According to the publication, entries were judged on creativity, layout/design, typography production and knowledge transfer and overall quality.
