June 12, 2024 — The University of Houston’s Law Center and Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine recently partnered to host a seminar titled “Justice and Health for All: The Future of Affirmative Action in Legal and Medical Education.”
The event comes in the wake of the Supreme Court decision in Students for Fair Admission v. Harvard that struck down affirmative action in college admissions.
This daylong conference was divided into five panels, each delving into the challenges encountered within healthcare and legal domains.
